Our Process
We believe each person needs a unique financial plan to best reach their goals. To achieve a high-quality level of customization, we follow a 7-step process to get to know our clients on a personal level and make sure you understand and agree with every aspect of your financial plan.
Step 1: Discovery
In our discovery call, we’ll spend 15-20 minutes getting to know each other. We ask you questions about your financial goals and concerns. We also tell you about our process and answer any questions you may have for us.
Step 2: Decide
After our discovery call, it is important that you take time to decide if we’re a good fit for your needs. Working with the right retirement planner is an important decision, so we want to make sure you are 100% on board.
Step 3: Analyze
If we decide we are a good fit, we do a deep analysis of your goals, your current financial picture, your risk tolerance, and your return needs. We get to know where you are and where you would like to be in the future.
Step 4: Strategize
Next, we strategize the best ways to help you reach your goals based on where you are today and where you need to be. Our strategies consider your risk and return analysis as well as your values.
Step 5: Recommend
We present the plan we are recommending and educate you on our recommendations. During your presentation, you ask any questions you have about your plan and identify areas that might be problematic.
Step 6: Implement
Once you understand and agree to your plan, we implement it. Through a hands-on approach, we help you complete the necessary tasks that get your plan started.
Step 7: Evaluate
The work does not stop there. We provide ongoing evaluation of your asset allocation and continue to make recommendations of opportunities you might be interested in. It is important that we stay in touch at least annually to make sure your plan is always moving you closer to reaching your goals.
